Cookie Policy
This policy covers the analytics cookie and local browser storage used by PA Adjuster Directory. For contact messages and other information, see our Privacy Policy.

Analytics cookie: _ra_uid
_ra_uid is set on this website's domain. It contains a randomly generated identifier and the last-seen date in your browser's local time. The tracker uses it to distinguish a new visit from a returning visit, including the first visit of a day. It is not a name, email address, or insurance claim number.
Its expiry is set to 365 days and renewed on each visit when tracking runs, unless your browser removes it sooner. It is marked Secure and SameSite=Lax. The tracker does not run on non-HTTPS pages, localhost, or vercel.app preview domains. On an eligible domain, it runs on page load unless the browser opt-out below is active; there is no cookie-consent banner.
Activity recorded and service providers
The tracker sends page paths without query strings, referring website hostnames, broad device categories, first-visit indicators, and selected button or link labels to our analytics service. Country-level information may be added from hosting request headers. The tracker does not read the values you type into the contact form.
Our analytics service stores daily totals and separate records of clicks classified as contact or lead activity, including the time, page, label, and available country or device category. A click record does not prove that a message was delivered or a firm was hired. Vercel handles website requests and Google Cloud Firestore stores analytics records. First-party describes where the cookie is set, not a promise that no service provider processes information.
Your analytics preference: _ra_ignore
You can turn off analytics for this browser. On the live HTTPS website, this saves _ra_ignore with the value 1 in localStorage and stops this tracker before it sets its cookie or sends activity. To reverse the choice, turn analytics back on. These links require JavaScript and access to localStorage.
The preference has no automatic expiry and applies only to this website in the current browser and profile. Set it separately on other devices. Clearing site storage removes it. Turning analytics off does not remove an existing _ra_uid cookie or previously recorded activity; you can delete the cookie in browser settings. If localStorage is blocked, the preference cannot be saved and the tracker may continue to run.
Browser controls and their limits
Your browser can remove or block this site's cookies and local storage. Blocking only cookies may still allow page and click events to be sent; it also makes returning-visit counts less reliable. Deleting _ra_uid without opting out may cause a new identifier to be created on your next eligible visit. The directory can be read without accepting the analytics cookie.
This tracker does not currently read Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signals. Use the site-specific opt-out above to stop it. External business websites may set their own cookies under their own policies when you visit them.
